Red Sox trade Lugo for Duncan

Boston's shortstop Julio Lugo plus cash was traded for Cardnals outfielder Chris Duncan. Lugo got a nice $36million four-year-free-agent deal and Boston got a new Outfielder who had 5 homers, batted .227, and had 32 RBIs in 87 games. Lugo is designated for assignment friday and thru the next season will be payed the 13million he is owed. Boston also got a new first baseman Adam LaRoche from the Pirates. This is after they dropped out of first in the AL East. I have aquired my information from Boston.com
